There are two different species of Rokuro Kubi.

Its neck began to quietly stretch out like a snake, its head farther and farther away from the kimono, slithering out of the room and into the night, looking for prey.
The head of Rokuro Kubi searches the forest for larvae, worms, insects, etc. but that’s not the only type of food on this youkai’s menu.
The second species of Rokuro Kubi is just as beautiful as its snake-necked counterpart, but much more dangerous.
This Rokuro Kubi species is said to originate from China, and is considered to be both `male` and `female` (although mostly female), unlike its other sibling species which is only `female`.
